A key feature of the UK Prominent Peaks database Excel peak data is the ability to track a user�s progress. If a user has been using traditional lists, it is very likely that some of the UK�s Prominent Peaks have already been climbed.
The peaks are listed in the workbook tab "Peak Data". There is a place to enter the date when a peak is ascended.
The next tab "My Progress" adds up the number of peaks ascended by prominence and height group as shown in the screenshot below.
The progress table also provides subtotals by country and for all peaks in a given height or prominence category.
A further tab works out cumulative totals, for example the number of peaks climbed with height 750 metres or greater and prominence 100 metres or greater.
